Rôle : Project Manager / Building energy optimization

You will play a critical role in driving sustainability across real estate projects..

  • Sector : Installator HVAC 

Diploma 

  • Master degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in building special techniques/energy. (HVAC)

Skills and experiences

  • You have a broader knowledge of construction beyond special techniques, such as roof insulation, facades, glazing, etc.
  • You have knowledge of PEB in Brussels (and ideally other regions) to estimate the impact of recommendations on the PEB.
  • You have a strong willingness to learn about taxonomy and the CRREM curve, if not already mastered.
  • You are agile and adaptable, thriving in a young and dynamic organization.
  • You enjoy challenging the status quo and thinking outside the box.
  • You are enthusiastic about exchanging ideas and information with various individuals from different entities within the group.
  • You speak Dutch or French and you are fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze building performance against European taxonomy, focusing on energy efficiency and PEB standards.
  • Identify and recommend energy improvements, estimating their impact on Capex, energy savings, and CO2 reduction.
  • Assess building resilience to climate stress, such as flooding and overheating, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Determine the building’s position on the CRREM curve and suggest retrofits to ensure compliance with decarbonization goals.
  • Evaluate building comfort and well-being levels according to Breeam in Use and Well standards and assess the impact of your recommendations.
  • Act as the key point of contact with clients, explaining our recommendations and coordinating with contractors.
  • Guide and validate sustainability activities in line with our company’s strategy.
  • Represent the company in industry working groups and foster relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on sustainability trends and regulations in construction and renovation.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the company to maximize sustainability initiatives.
